This Privacy Policy describes how LogoImpress ("we," "us," "our," or the "Platform"), operated by Ankur Shrivastava (Sole Proprietor), a business registered under the laws of India with its registered office at Ground Floor HD-305, WeWork Embassy TechVillage, Block L5, Outer Ring Road, Devarabeesanahalli Village, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560103, India, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our website at www.logoimpress.com and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.


1. Definitions

  • "Brand" refers to any business, advertiser, or entity that uses the Platform to place logo impressions in creator content.
  • "Creator" refers to any individual or entity that uses the Platform to monetize their content by embedding brand logos or watermarks.
  • "User" refers to any individual who accesses the Platform, including Brands, Creators, and visitors.
  • "Personal Data" means any data about an individual who is identifiable by or in relation to such data, as defined under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
  • "Data Fiduciary" refers to LogoImpress, as the entity that determines the purpose and means of processing Personal Data.
  • "Data Principal" refers to the individual to whom the Personal Data relates.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Registration: Name, email address, phone number, and password.
  • Creator-Specific Data: YouTube channel URL, YouTube channel ID, Instagram handle (where applicable), content niche or category, and payout preferences (UPI ID, bank account details, or payment method information).
  • Brand-Specific Data: Company name, business registration details (GST number, company registration number), billing address, authorized contact person details, and payment instrument information.
  • Identity Verification: PAN card details, GST certificate, or other KYC documents as required by applicable law or payment gateway partners.
  • Communications: Any information you share with us through support requests, emails, or other correspondence.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps of activity, referral source, and interaction patterns on the Platform.
  • Device and Browser Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and screen resolution.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and facilitate authentication. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

2.3 Information from Third-Party Sources

  • YouTube Data API v3: For Creators who submit YouTube content for campaigns, we access publicly available video metadata, including view counts, publish dates, and video IDs. We do not access private YouTube data or require YouTube account login credentials.
  • Payment Processors: Payment processors (such as PayPal or bank transfer intermediaries) may share transaction confirmation data, payment status, and limited financial identifiers necessary to process payments or payouts. As the Platform scales, additional payment processors may be integrated.
  • Instagram Graph API (if applicable): If a Creator connects their Instagram account, we access publicly available metrics such as Reel view counts, engagement data, and media IDs. This requires explicit OAuth consent from the Creator.

3. Purpose of Processing

We process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To create and manage your account, facilitate campaigns, match Brands with Creators, track verified views, and process payments and payouts.
  • View Verification: To poll public video metrics via the YouTube Data API v3 (and, where applicable, the Instagram Graph API) for verifying view counts associated with active campaigns.
  • Payment Processing: To process Brand payments and Creator payouts through our payment gateway partners.
  • Tax Compliance: To deduct and remit TDS as required under Sections 194C or 194J of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and to comply with GST obligations.
  • Communication: To send transactional notifications, service announcements, and with your consent, promotional communications.
  • Platform Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and enforceable governmental requests.
  • Fraud Prevention: To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, including artificial view inflation and unauthorized access.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

  • Consent: Where you have provided explicit consent at the time of registration or through specific actions on the Platform.
  • Legitimate Use: Where processing is necessary for a purpose for which you voluntarily provided your Personal Data.
  • Legal Obligation: Where processing is required to comply with applicable Indian laws.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hello@logoimpress.com. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.


5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your Personal Data. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • With Payment Processors: Payment processors (such as PayPal or bank transfer intermediaries) receive payment-related data necessary to process transactions.
  • Between Platform Users (Limited): Brands may see Creator display names, channel URLs, content categories, and campaign performance metrics. Neither party receives the other's financial details or KYC documents.
  • With Tax Authorities: We may share PAN details, payout amounts, and TDS deduction records as required by law.
  • With Service Providers: We use third-party providers for hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Google Workspace), and analytics under contractual data protection obligations. As the Platform grows, additional service providers may be engaged, and this policy will be updated accordingly.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose Personal Data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Retained while active and for 3 years after deletion, for tax record-keeping compliance.
  • Transaction and Payment Data: Retained for a minimum of 8 financial years as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961, and GST regulations.
  • View Tracking Data: Retained for the campaign duration plus 1 year for audit and dispute resolution.
  • Communication Records: Retained for 2 years.
  • Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 1 year for analytics purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security safeguards to protect your Personal Data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms, including role-based access.
  • Regular security assessments and monitoring for unauthorized access.
  • Logical access controls to isolate data between users.
  • Secure storage of payment credentials through PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway partners. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVVs, or bank account passwords on our servers.

No method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.


8. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the following rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the Personal Data we process about you.
  • Right to Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or misleading Personal Data.
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your Personal Data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: Raise a grievance regarding processing of your Personal Data. If unsatisfied, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
  • Right to Nominate: Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the Platform to function (session authentication, security tokens). These cannot be disabled.

10. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.


11. Children's Data

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete that data promptly.


12. International Data Transfers

Your Personal Data may be processed by our hosting providers (Vercel) and payment processors in jurisdictions outside India, including the United States. Where such transfers occur, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including contractual commitments to maintain adequate data protection standards.


13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
